Who we are
Studio Intangible is a one-person consultancy run by Malou Dongelmans, PhD. Contact: studiointangible.com/contact.
What we collect
Only what you give us, and basic server logs.
- Book signup: your name and email address, when you submit the form on the homepage.
- Audit requests: your email and the URL you submitted, when you run a Visual Content Audit.
- Contact form: your name, email, and message.
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, requested path, response status, timestamp. Held for 30 days then aggregated.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 with anonymised IP, for traffic patterns only. You can opt out with any standard browser extension.
What we do with it
We email you. That is the point. For book signups, you will receive occasional updates about The Visual Content Audit book and related essays. For audits, we email the report. For contact, we reply.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.
Who we share with
Service providers that make the site and tools work, under their own privacy policies:
- Hostinger (hosting, EU)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Stripe (payments, if you buy a report)
- Google Analytics (aggregate traffic)
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (for audit scoring, sending only the data strictly required)
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to show, correct, export, or delete your data. Email us via the contact form and we will action the request within 30 days. No forms, no jumping through hoops.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for analytics and to remember your preferences. No advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where possible, email anyone on the book list.
